NOT an MMO. It wouldn't be The Elder Scrolls if it was. I want to see remake the series from scratch. I absolutly dispised Oblivion. It wasn't an RPG, it was a free-roaming book. It was slow, and, worst of all, you felt no sense of strengthening, since the enemies level up with you. I found it to be dull and horrid. And then they fixed that with Fallout 3.

An MMO would put the stake in the franchise for true fans of the series. Hopefully they'll listen to fans of the previous titles and actually bother putting some depth and quality into their next game.

Elder Scrolls isn't going to be an MMO. They explain that in Oblivion. Actually play it.

ya the leveling up sucked. It should be if you venture too far to places that you are not high enough level then creatures can kill you easily, so you just have to come back when you are a higher level or have stronger powers and weapons.

Agreed. To all the people saying MMO, that's completely insane. If Elder Scrolls becomes an MMO it won't be Elder Scrolls anymore, it's gonna be smthing else. That's complete nonsense.

:) How about a way to select a place to live by buying a house that can go up for sale, you could buy any house in the game, or create a place outside of city walls using preset building designs depending on how much you would like to spend. Also I would like to see a better stealth system put in place. I loved Oblivion the way it was, the only thing that would make it better would be the little details in the world, better AI and some sort of good/evil chat selection. The AI can recognize if you are friends or if you told him you would kill him if he didn't comply with something you wanted. Can't wait for a new elder scroll's!

^^ You can buy houses in Oblivion.

Also, it was super tough to tell if my character was good or evil. You know, cuz robbing and murdering everyone in sight left too many gray areas.

All I ask is for better combat. Not feeling like I'm just flailing a sword around blindly and hoping it will hit. Some prpoer fighting moves would be great.

would have been cool if they made blocking actually worth doing, as you say it's better to just wildly cut and slash

Uhm, no it isn't. When you block, your enemy enters a brief semi-stuned state that allows you to attack him with much more efficiency. You should try it sometime.

Its not gonna be an MMO, if you know Bethesda. It gonna be the same style as before, which I hope, MMO's would ruin this intensily story driven franchise. I just hope they bring back some of the features from Morrowind(ie spears, cross bows, exclusive leveling, meduim armor, more guilds.....) Morrowwind just seems to have for depth, but I truely believe that the next Elder Scrolls requires a drastic change in combat. But even that isn't one of my first requests.

definitly no MMO. Maybe a bigger world with more attention to the little details. Maybe have a feature where you can buy your own land and build a house or grow stuff on your property to make money
