new game...

I know you folks probably get this a million times. But I looked around here in the forums, and surfed around gamespot.com for awhile, and couldn't find anything.

I'm in the market for a new 360 game, but I don't know what. All I know is I want a fairly new game with good graphics and a cool storyline. If you want, here are examples of games I am playing on occassion/just finished playing: Oblivion, MLB 2k7, Tony Hawk games, Halo, Gears of War...

So I'm open to any genre. Suggest away.

yea these are probaly the best games out you dont have, dont get vegas if u dont have live, the single player is repetative and pretty much the same throughout.

If someone actually read my post, I specifically mentioned STORYLINE as an important factor. Most of the suggested games have zero storyline.

Does anyone who actually read my post have a suggestion?

It took me a good 40 hours to complete, and I thouroughly enjoyed it, although i am J-rpg happy but still. As long as you get past the first hour or so with the super annoying makoto, then it's all good. The best part is the battle system, it looks complex but takes little time to get used to. A good game. Cheep now too.

 I also would recommend Enchanted Arms. And like the person above me said, once you get pass the first part of the game, and you leave the school, its pretty much good from there. If you don't like Japanese RPG turn based system, this is not the game for you. But if you do, its a good story and a long adventure.

Turn based games aren't really my thing, and I already own Splinter Cell Double Agent actually.

I'm starting to realize maybe there isn't a new game out there for me yet...if not, are there any anticipated releases this summer that I don't know about?

blacksite area 51 just released a demo and it looks freakin awsome. so thats something to look forward to. forza 2 is comming soon and i'm not into racers to much but i loved the first one so i'm excited about the second.

I was looking at Call of Duty 3, but I also found Hour of Victory. Hour of Victory comes out in June, but if would not be getting a new game until July anyway, since I am a poor college student and that is when my birthday is.

I realize that it is hard to choose between a game that is out and a game that isn't out because you don't have all the information about HoV yet, but what would the gamer community hear suggest? Should I get CoD3, HoV, or another WWII game? Preferably, the newer the game, the better; I have a thing for up-to-date graphics.

Well, just to re-emphasize MY POSTS, I am not looking at Rainbow 6, so stop talking about it please.

I am looking at WWII games. CoD3, HoV, or any other that I don't know about? Suggest away, in the WWII genre please. I'm sorry if I seem impatient here, but it kind of bothers me that people either don't read my posts that serve to update my search for a game, or just disregard what I say and post about Rainbow 6 anyway.

So, WWII. Preferably a newer game, and it doesn't have to be out yet, but at least coming out in the next month or two.

i AM really LOOKING FORWARD TO hOv. cod 3 WAS KINDA A "MEH" WWII game. I am the biggest sucker for WWII games ever. So I'd recommend waiting for HoV or BiA HH, or even Moh Airborne (I would wait for a couple revews due to previous MoH games).

Dude your frustration is understandable, but NO games have ANY story anymore. It kills me that devs are forgetting that a good story can make a good game epic (MGS for example). So yea, good luck with that, if you find one let me know... 

Dude MGS is one of my favorite all time games...I think it would make a great movie.

Anyway, thanks for the input on CoD3...I think I'm going to wait for HoV

I don't have XBL. I did, but I went to college, so I cancelled my account since I can't use it there anyway. From my experience, Rainbow Six games have little to no storyline at all...jjyank

by asking for WWII games you severly limit your chances of finding something good, but thats just MY opinion. CoD2/3 are you only choices now. but hour of victory, brothers in arms, and medal of honor airborne come out later this year so you can always wait for those

Actually there is a good deal of logic by thinking about it now. If I decide go to for CoD3, I can get it from my extended family for an early present when they come to visit for memorial day, or if I decide on HoV, I'll wait until July.

Anyway, I understand that this limits my choices on games (obviously), but I'm just craving WWII. What can I say, I enjoy killing nazis.  Besides, I initially opened my game search to just about everything, and nothing really caught my eye, despite all the Rainbow Six fanboys that swarmed in here.
