New Grand Theft Auto MMORPG Coming out

The creator of Grand Theft Auto is the lead designer of the new MMORPG for PC and Xbox 360 called "All points Bulletin, set to come out in 2010. This game is a new breed of online game. Set in a persistent living, breathing open-world urban environment where fame and fortune awaits all players. Some players will achieve this by feeding on the city, its people and its businesses…the Criminals. Some will live by a higher code and instead feed on the criminals and their organizations…the Enforcers. This dynamic where players become the core content for other players is one of the many unique features of APB. Its deep, rich customization system provides players with the ability to completely personalize their identity. Looks, clothing, vehicles and even music, all to astonishing detail and quality. APB also claims it will be the first MMO title where the player's skill determines the character's progression. I can't wait for this game... Two factions ... Hundreds of cities ... Thousands of gangs. It has been in development for years, its led by the creator of GTA, and I think it will be one hell of a game. Has anyone heard of this game? What do you think of it?

yeah...i've been excited for this game for a while... i think this was announced about a year ago. They showed the customization options. If i remember correctly, Peter Moore was still with MS when this was announced, because they made a Peter Moore look-alike in the game.

I've heard of it. I've been excited about this game for a long time. I can't wait until it comes out, if it does. Realtime Worlds recently announced that they're going to release it for the PC, but they are not sure if they will release a 360 version after. I really hope they do. The customization is incredible, and the fact that the game is coming from the guy who created Grand Theft Auto and Crackdown almost guarantees that this game will be incredible. And by the way, it's just called APB (which stands for All Points Bulletin like you said).

I am interested but I need to see more of it before I decide for sure. I like the idea of a persistant world where you can be either law enforcement or crimminal but I need to know more of the activities that each group can do in the game. From the video it looked like it's possible to rob or defend a bank which is cool, but I'm hoping for a ton of variety in the missions. If it's only a few objective based PVP missions made up of mostly death match then I may pass. On the bright side, Real Time Worlds is creating it and after Crackdown, they deserve my attention and my optimism that it will be good.

iv been waiting for this game but at E3 they said in a bunch of interviews that its not coming to the xbox at first if at all

read my above post, its going to PC first and xbox later on if at all. every interview i saw from E3 says the same thing so im going with it being true
