Ok, so I got a new Xbox 360 hard drive for Christmas (upgrading from 20GB to 120GB). I have a bunch of data on my old hard drive that I would like to transfer to my new hard drive. Does anyone know about how I would do this?

My main issues of concern are the following types of data:

4 accounts (1 gold and 3 silver)

Significant amount of game data

Several Xbox Live games

Is there any simple way of transferring this data all at once? Or are there multiple ways of transferring the data (you can just transfer the Xbox Live account, but you can't do the same for the game data)?

Thank you for any answers in advance. Also, one final note. I only have a new hard drive. Not a new Xbox. My Xbox is still the classic white, but now I have the black elite hard drive. Thanks!

Well unless you bought the hard drive used, it should come with a data migration kit. If you did buy it used then you best bet is to look at everything that is not downloadable content (game add ons, videos, arcade games ect.) and just focus on the actuall game saves and information. Just borrow a memory card from someone and transfer it that way. Then just re-download all your downloadable content to your new hard drive. It may take a while but you will run into less problems that way.

Black? Is it used? If so you may have to contact Microsoft to see if they will send you a transfer kit. If they wont, you will only be able to move the game saves and profiles by using a memory card and swapping hard drives, there will be no way to transfer your downloadable content.

You can print and send a form to Microsoft to get a transfer cable. Transferring data can sometimes take over an hour (took 1 hour 30 minutes for me as my 20 GB was near enough full).

I take it you either have a used or non official hdd. You could ring microsoft support to see if they will send you a free migration cable or you could pick one up off ebay and then put it back on ebay when you're done with it.

Ok guys I have a few questions I recently won an x-box during a drawing. It was a store display model and did not come with controllers or anything but it works great. I says it has 13.9 gb and i dont see an hdmi port so my questions what model would it be considered. I'm into having lots of hd space my ps3 has a 350gb in it. So what is the max space that i can put in the x-box and what type of hdd is recommended? I seen an x-box hd I believe at walmart but do i have to buy that one or is there a particular size like a sata for example that i can buy? Any help will be greatly appreciated because i'm about to start buying alot of games and is going to be need all the space.

highest size you can get is the 120GB, and it has to be a official Harddrive in order to transfer marketplace data from your old drive.
