New HDD data transfer

I have just brought a 60GB HDD to replace my 20GB one. i dont have a tranfer cable but i do have a memory card, can i transfer my saved games between the two?

then for dlc's i can just redownload them cant i?

yeah, you can use the memory card, but i'd really recommend finding a transfer cable. that's what i did. you can find them on ebay for cheap if you get lucky.

Is that just for Elite consoles? the form suggests so, i have a Arcade console and am just upgrading the HDD.

odd. I just brought a 120GB HDD and it came with the transfer cable.

If you buy the 120 GB HDD it comes with a cable. If not, you may own an elite and order the cable.
