new hdtv but old xbox 360...

now as yall know the old xbox 360 does not have hdmi...so i'll be hooking up vga to this new television

but it is not labeled as 480p/720p or 1080i...

there is just one set of component so how will it show up??

i know it won't be 1080p...since its not hdmi but what than??

component is 720p... If that's what you're asking. if im not mistaken vga will also only give you 720p.

Component, vga and hdmi can all display 720p and 1080p(but some tvs wont accept 1080p trough component) .

Very cryptic question. I can pretty much guarantee that if the tv has VGA in, it will do at least up to 1080i. In the video blade it will show all the resolutions you can use. (the system auto detects the vga cord). try one that closely matches your tv or just try them all.
