ive been a Playstation fan since PS1 came out and never touched an xbox because i was biased w/ PS :P.

I broke down and bought a 360 mainly for RPG's ATM then new games later. I bought Lost Odyssey , Blue Dragon , Mass Effect, and Eternal Sonata.

Im so happy I did this and I always blindly defended playstation but I have to say that 360 online system is the frickin best thing ive seen ever. It destroys PS3's online. I cant wait to buy a 360 online game(already own cod4 and gta on ps3)

i can finally admit that ps3 is great but so is 360 :P

360 id tag LanceX2 , add me I need 360 buddies :D

I own both the PS3 and 360 as well - they are both good consoles. I will say the more you get into the 360 you may find you definitely have a preference for one of the systems over the other as I have. Which one you ask?

Well let's just say my 360 gets about 85 to 90% of the playing time for a myriad of reasons - including a much wider (and IMO overall better) game selection.

Welcome aboard. :)

Now you will have to make the hard choice when selecting multi-platform games.

awesome. how do you like it so far?

ive always been a longtime nintendo fan but broke down for bioshock when it came out. granted, ive got the wii60 thing going and ive been playing 360 for a while now. its gonna take some good wii games to get me back into it but then again, there are a lot of games i missed so far so ill likely try those too. the only thing i cant see happening is me breaking down and going for a ps3. that is very unlikely

I'm the same way, only I was all for the 360. Last week I finally bought a PS3 (mainly for MGS4, granted, which was 100% worth it) and I couldn't be happier. Both systems have great games out now, and now I can enjoy all the excellent exclusives coming out on both systems in the future. Multiple consoles is definitely the way to go.

multiple consoles is wayyy too much money to waste. Yes, I say waste not because I don't have the money or job, but because I have far more important things to spend my money on (i.e. education). I'd only buy both systems if I had no life, no friends, and played videogames everyday (I play about 3 hrs a week).

I'll try not to take that too personally. But fyi, just because someone enjoys video games and happens to own 2 consoles, doesn't mean that have no life, no friends, and play video games all day every day. I agree with you, there are far more important things to spend your money on. But if I have spare money left over, and gaming is a hobby of mine, then why not?

And if you only play video games 3 hours a week, what the hell are you doing on game forums?
