New MW2 Glitch, BEWARE!

Apparently there is this brilliant new glitch going around whereby you can enter a game and any person you kill will net you a lovely -5 million experience. This is only on some servers with certain hosts but there is no way of knowing until it happens. Just thought i would bring about awareness to prevent any unfortunate events

And before you ask, no it has not happened to me, but i have read about it and heard it from two seperate friends friend

Yea, I saw a video on youtube. People do it to reach the 10th prestige. Honestly I don't know why they would, that pretty ruins all of the replay value of multiplayer.

These glitches take so much out of the game...

YEah, I played today too. No glitches here. I have seen hacked servers though (OR GLitched, Not sure). Infinite rapid fire ammo, People moving incredibly fast etc..

IW really needs to fix all these things.

This is an unfortunate warning to others, although Medal King joined into this game unintentionally, if you ever received a message claiming to help you rank up to 10th Prestige. Beware.

If you join a game and notice something isn't right "strange ammo / low gravity" anything you know isn't a normal game setting, back out immediately without getting a kill. Otherwise you risk the same result.

Microsoft is already aware of this mod and are addressing it, we will continue to fight the good fight on our end as well here at Infinity Ward.

Well thats it. I'm quitting MW2. I simply cannot take the chance that a glitch that occurs to 1 in 1,000,000 people will affect my experience points. And I also cant deal with put in a room where my player can move really fast. I mean, what do they want me to do - just back out and find another room?! Nonsense! Too difficult and time consuming.

This game is way too addicting to quit, unfortunately. My first foray into multi-player. Glitchy but mindfreakinblowingly fun as heck. Purchasing another muti-player game would probably be the only solution. Borderlands or Halo 3, anyone?

Trying to pick up a copy of cod 4 which a ton of people say is a good game.

if i worked for IW i would do this: go to youtube, search for mw2 hacks, ban the kid saying hell do it for microsoft points, read all the comments saying their GT and that they will do it, reset their ranks to lvl 1 no prestige, than get 2 work on a patch. i know its really complicated. Oh and reset everyone in 10th prestige to level 1 no prestige cuz they're obviosly boosters

It appears MW2 appears to be more broken than COD4. I guess infinity Ward was wrong when they said they didn't need a beta...
