New Perfect Dark Game!!!

The May issue of OXM states that there will be a sequel to Perfect Dark Zero, and will be mentions of it in the next novel.  I think it is great because IMO PDZ had the best multiplayer of anygame out for 360.  Balanced gameplay, no host advantage, almost never lagged. 32 people, varied gametypes. and unlike Gears you could actually change settings in the multiplayer lobby.  Personally i can't wait for this game. I know this is one of those games where you either love i or hate it, so hopefully they can have a great single player, and keep the same great multiplayer.

Yeah it was in developement for five years but it didnt have five years of development time. 1st it was gonna be for gamecube, then xbox, then 360. 1st it was gonna be 3rd person(im happy it wasnt) but it came out 1st person.  Basicly they wated a lot of time on making it, so it became a totally different game for a totally different system.  The game probably wasnt what Rare wanted as a final product but they had to make sure it was out for 360 launch.

 Host always has an advantage, its just less noticeable in bigger games.  

Second, DON'T CARE!  IMO, PDZ was only half decent until better games came out, then it became unplayable.  Rare is simply not the same company it was before being bought by MS (didn't a bunch of important people from Rare leave after MS bought them?). 

For all of you that did really like PDZ, I hope the sequel turns out well, but at this point this is definitely filed in the don't care pile.

The last one scored AAA it was far from sucking.  It may have not lived up to the last version but it's far from sucking.

5 years of swapping consoles from game cube to ps2 to xbox then they went into a bit of finacial trouble and then they took it too the 360 so it was a long but very bumpy road to it.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to make a game!? especially with the trouble they had.

prey took 12 years too make and that was a very bad game and whay about duke nuke'em its been in develpment since the dinosaurs and probably wont come out for another 100 years.

Yeah, games normally take 2 years.  Rare had enough time to make a good game, sure they were rushed a bit and it was a launch title, but it wasn't good enough.  It was fine for the launch window because the Xbox always needs FPS titles, but once more games came out it got left in the dust.

i agree, revamp single player, but they better not change anything about the multi, other than new maps, because PDZ multi still owns, this is great news tho, cant wait to buy itmiguelpaco

Yeah, but you have to realize they had to change it from Gamecube game to Xbox game to Xbox 360.  That is aot of recoding and graphical adjustments.
