I play Call of duty 4 alot, and people are increasingly talking about new prestiges and perks being put in the game in the coming months. I searched the net lookin for hard evidence of this and havent seen much. Anyone have any game sites or news about these rumors?

It was also a rumor for a while on gears that they were adding new weapons, one of which was a flamethrower. And that never happend.

Because what is the practical use of a flamethrower in modern warfare? And will the maps cost anything?

I believe it'll cost 800 MS points because the GOTY edition costs $10 more and it already has the three extra maps.

nothing has been confirmed yet. if you wanna know the most recent accurate info on what's coming next for CoD4, read Robert Bowling's (AKA FourZeroTwo) blog. He actually works for Infinity Ward as the Community Relations Manager and is more in the know about what's next than anyone you'll meet on Xbox Live. IW has not confirmed any additional content other than the 4 maps that are nearing release. Link to the blog is below.
