New Three Year Warranty Policy!

MS is updating the warranty for the Xbox 360 to three years for any issues with consoles dying from the three red lights. Not only that, but they're making it so all repairs are now free, and anyone who had previously paid for repairs will be reimbursed.

I would assume that's because if you're still under warranty, they'll give you a refurbished system if you ask for it, instead of your repaired system back. But if you don't have warranty, they'll probably just try to repair the one you sent, and send it back to you. I don't think you'd be able to get a new refurbished console if you don't have warranty.

Xbox 1080 will be made before 3 years is up, who cares.

And it should be a lifetime warranty, not our fault they have 3 year olds putting together their consoles.

well this actually pisses me of, i paid for an extended warrenty through the store i bought it from, is microsoft gonna reimburse me for that?IM_NO_NOOB

i would say no and they would prb. say "you should have bought a ms warranty" or something
