New to the 'Xbox360 Beta 2013'.. Please help answer some simple questions..

Im participating in the Xbox360 Beta in the UK..

But due to the fact that it's my first time I just have a couple of quick questions..

I signed up for it a few days ago, and now have the Beta channel on my 360 and also have access to the forums on Xbox.com..

When you go into the "Latest Info" using the Beta channel, it gives me the latest update number which "after checking" is also visible in my 'System settings'.. But even though it's informing me that the "latest dashboard" is now being made available.. I'm still unable to access or download any new dashboard update?!

Is there something else I need to do to obtain the new dashboard?

Or will I simply be given the option to download the new dashboard update in a few days time?

I'm just not quite sure how it works..

Unless they pay you to beta test, I wouldn't bother ever. I have turned down so many Betas...just not worth my time or hassle.
