ok so my friends da owns a toshiba dealership so i can get tv's at dealer cost. i currently have a 20" regza, hooked up. it looks fine but i might want to get something bigger, my parents just got a 42" toshiba something or another for there room for around 2 grand, obviously im not getting a 40". anyway so i can get a 26" for 450 bucks. so i just got my grats from work, (there a collection of tips) so i got around 500 bucks. i have around 2000 total now, im only 14, i dont have alot of money. so my question is should i get a new tv, or should i just buy more games, there are four i really want right now, (far cry 2, CODWAW, im in the beta, kick ass game, Fallout, Fable and gears) oh wait thats five. ok so whould i put the money towards those games or the tv, im kinda leaning towards the games but i dont know. (oh ya i have no more income for the season, i work at a golf course and it closed). also whould i just ask for a tv for christmas

Since you have $2000 you could just buy it all, TV for $500 then $300 on the games you want then your still left with $1200.

If i was you i would go a bit bigger and get a 32" not sure of the price of them in the U.S but i got my 37" LG 1080p HD-TV for £750($1500) and that came with a stand/dvd recorder and surround sound system.

I also have a 42" LG 1080p HD-TV in the living room which cost £900.

I would spend around $1000 on a 32" HD-TV, like i said im not sure of the prices over there but for £500 you can buy a samsung 32" 1080p TV with no extra's over here then id buy the games also, that would be around $1300.

I going to assume you only have $500 to spend out of your cash if so then i would go with the games, having a tv thats only an extra 4 inches and not having anything new to play on it will be a bummer.

Get the games then see if you parents will go halfs or something on a 32" HD-TV for x-mas.

go for a 32 inch vizio, you should be able to find one for around 1000, and then you could still get all your games

The beta is really bad...

Anyway, I say new tv.

It would take you longer to save up for the tv than it would for the games.

You should be able to easily find a 32" for around 600 to 700 dollars. $1000 is a ripoff.

Here ya go...I just bought this TV 2 weeks ago. Amazing TV, seriously. And you'll still have plenty left for games.

If you have a credit or debit card you can buy one online I think a 32" lcd HD tv cost around $500. buy.com, newegg.com, and tigerdirect.com are good sites to buy from. Or you could wait till after thanksgiving for black friday lol. I think buying a t.v. would be better because you could just ask your parents for games. Right?

Asking for personal purchasing advice doesn't really pertain to the 360 forum and is therefore off-topic.

You might get a better response by re-posting this as a blog entry on your profile where people who know you better will be able to provide advice better suited to your needs.

Sorry.
