This looks like what could be a rough draft of the fall update. I kind of like it but it could use a lot of spicing up. Enjoy.

You still have to put the game in the tray to prove you own it. Otherwise people will rent a game, burn it to the HDD and then return it. The point of burning to the HDD is so that your 360 doesnt use the disk drive to run the game. Therefore, theres almost no noise and it reduces heat. It helps with loading times too but i dont care about that. DZBricktop

Oh yea I could see absolutely no problems if they allowed you to just download it onto your HDD and play without the disc...

the video is real, the dashboard update was leaked on the net, but to install it you have to modify your console which defeats the purpose, and you could get banned

no, in order to install a game to the 360, the system needs to read the disc

it can read it but when i load it up im stuck im my apartment and the game loads nothings else just me in my apartment and when i try to escape the game says disk is unreadable.... it's like my niko's under house arrest:(...

The purpose of the install is to stop the disc from spinning while in the console. Doesn't sound like much, but it'll make your console last much longer, it'll be a lot quieter and the games will load up a lot faster. Shorter load screens and other performance boosts for example.

Requiring the disc stops piracy.

Yeah they should just let us install it and not use the disc so then we can take it to all our mates and let them install it so then they dont have to buy a copy, totally should let us do that lolololololololol
