whats gamespot trying to hide by pulling the article? i mean if its bogus then they would've just left it on the site yeah? but then again think about what happened a few days ago with the leaked update video... something fishy is going on here and I like it! lol if this is real it gives me even more of a reason to buy a 360. (don't worry guys i was gonna get one anyways this just sweetens the deal)

If the DB update is real, if the 360 will support Messenger, then it makes a lot of sense to me that a thumb board's being released. According to the upate, Messenger on 360 won't support voice or video yet, right? The thought of using the virtual keyboard is grim to me and I just can't bring myself to hook a proper keyboard up, not while I'm sittin'on the couch.DurhamNC

If it was functional and the controller attachment wasn't really coming out, I'd buy a wireless USB keyboard, but I would never let wires tarnish my living room floor from my TV to my couch. (With my PS2 put away, I currently have zero visible wires)

why is everyone saying its fake, this has already been announced by Microsoft so nothing fake:

machine's text-window interface for standard control pads makes lengthy
conversations a chore.

To ease the task of typing in messages without the aid of a
full-sized keyboard, Microsoft today announced a new text input device
for the Xbox 360 controller. The attachment snaps onto the bottom of
the controller through the headset jack and features a QWERTY key
layout with 47 keys.

The keyboard attachment has not been priced or even named yet, but it
is expected to see release this summer."

I've had a keyboard connected to my 360 for awhile to send text messages.

 
I like the qwerty because it would make MMORPG games easier to play on the 360. Not World of Warcraft but something better. With the qwerty wouldn't have to have a keyboard with me on the couch. Unplug it when keyboard functionality isn't needed.

I never said I thought it was fake. I said IF it's fake, it's a good photoshop job, implying that it looks convincing and I don't think it's fake yet. Also, just because it's posted on GameSpot doesn't mean it's true, especially since this seems like the type of article that would have been posted as a Rumor Control update.Sokkratez
