new xbox 360 owner..please help!!!

ok guuys i just got an xbox 360 and its great, but I am looking for a tv and I dont know wat to buy. What TV do you guys recommend? Im on a budget of $2000(preferably less) and a tv of at least 46". Also what kind of tv do you guys recommend to play games on? A friend of mine has a DLP, but when he plays Halo there seems to be a slight lag between the controller and the game. Does that happen to all HDTVs? thanks for yout time guys

LCD, T.V's cost a little bit less in some stores than a Plasma T.V. Also a Plasma T.V can "burn in" if it's left on the same screen for too long.

Anything really, just do some research. Check out Amazon and Best Buy, read the user reviews and do your homework. Get a 1080p LCD if you can.
