So like the title says I'm getting a 360 soon(two weeks to be exact) but I still don't know what to get with it, I'm getting the premium/pro version and for the things I know I should be getting a charge kit and Live membership. Also does the wireless adapter plug to the 360 so it will connect to my router, or to my computer so that it will create an access point for it? Just so you know in what position I am, I'm getting the 360 and im leaving the country for a year so i NEED to know what is the best condition to have it so that it won't get a RROD. That means I have to get something like a cooler right?

Some of the games I'm getting with it are:

- Mass effect

- Assassins creed

- the elder scrolls: oblivion

- halo 3

- eternal sonata

Anything else? Gears of war?

Please help...

Yes the wireless adapter just plugs into the back of your 360. Get Mass Effect, Oblivion, Gears, COD4.

Yeah the 360 has no wifi, one of its drawbacks. But still buy one you won't regret it.

coolers arnet necessary some people say they actually damage youre console because they drain power needed for other things inside the console just keep it in an open area not inside a sealed cabinet. and as for games ide add bioshock and call of duty 4 to the list.

Actually, RROD is very unpredictable, so i'm not sure on how to prevent those things. (and yes, i've received that problem) Id' say you should also grab COD4. Yeah, hooking up the wireless adapter to the 360 is really easy, plug it via usb on the back and clip it on the same spot.

And as for live membership, i think you'll actually be getting silver membership which only grants you access to the Marketplace, NOT ACCESS TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER GAMES. so you have to go out to stores and but those Live access vards. they go by 1month access, 3 months, or 1 year. price startign at 8$

Well congratulations on getting one, have fun

I'll TRY TO sort something out with an ethernet cable and get more games with the extra money that would otherwise be used on the adapter.

EDIT: Thanks and yes, I know the difference between silver and gold membership and that's what i meant with "Live" in my first post, Ill be getting an annual subscription(50$) because i won't be back for a long time =(
