New Xbox...problems?

Hey I just got an Xbox360 on Sunday and have been playing Need for Speed:Carbon (which is brand new and has 0 scratches). I keep getting an error saying that there might be scratches or dirt on the disk. I have a 2 year warranty with bestbuy. Is this worthy of sending back or do I just deal with the issue? Its not a huge problem but its annoying... Thanks in advance!

i never see that on my 360 before and mine is a launch one, i have gotten the disk unreadable or please put in xbox game if thats the same thing i wouldnt worry too much if not then maybe

im working late tonight. so i will check it later and get the exact error message. i just firgured if i have a warranty, why not use it if something is wrong.

if it annoys u enough then take it back. its not that big of a deal they will just give u a new system there. god i love store warrantys...

return it for a new one, check the manufacturers date on it a friend of mine just got one with nfs and it was manufactured on 6/11/2006 and was cracked so he returned it for a diff one and it was also manufactured on teh same date, i just got a new one about a week ago mine also manufactured on teh same date and it has already frozen maybe 4 or 5 time son me, on diferent games, sometimes it just freezes other times it says the discs are unreadable, both discs are brand new, i wouldnt hold out on it instead return it for a new console and check when it was manufactured, 6/11 is ridiculous in my opinion considerin thats basically 8 months ago that it was made, i couldn't believe that the store still had a consoles that old

Yeah I'd return it now or try out a different game to see if it's just reading that game weird for some reason.

well where you get the game from , is the question , gamestop always sold me brand new supposivel games with scratches on them

and if its best buy go get a new/exchange,

no question asked cause the system shouldnt be doin that
