I bought RE5 and am loving it, finished up my first run last night. I will continue to crush it over the next week or two until I do everything, but after that what should I play?? I'm having trouble thinking of the big games that are coming out soon or have come out recently.

My collection right now looks like this

RE5
Dead Rising
Gears of War 2
Orange Box
Saints Row
NFL Tour
Madden 06 (bought cheap for achievement points)
NBA Live 06 (bought cheap for achievement points)

I have about $60-80 to spend plus I will probably be selling/trading Gears 2, so I'm looking at 2... maybe 3 games depending on which ones.
I enjoy survival horror, RPGs, an occasional FPS... almost any genre really but I'm having a tough time thinking of games I want to play right now.

Any suggestions are really appreciated guys, thank!

Thanks, Riddick looks appealing I'll probably rent that one. I had Halo 3, good game but I really don't like a majority of the community. I tried the Skate 2 demo and it was really fun, it's defintely a game I'm considering right now.

This and Skate 2 are both awesome games. Fable 2 is also a good RPG. Look for Bioshock 2 in the future.

It does look amazing, but I'm a little weary of this game, I don't really like those free roam/open ended games. I bought Oblivion thinking I would love it and ended up only playing it 3 or 4 times.

Um, do you have Live? That makes a huge difference to which games are really fun. Fable 2 I recommend, but not so much to go online with (unless you're addicted to getting achievements). Too many noobs who just join, kill EVERYTHING, then leave. Saint's Row 2 is really good, and gets even better when played with a friend (supposing neither is cheating, that just ruins the sense of accomplishment).

Ya I have Live, Saints Row 2 is definintely one I will be researching tomorrow. I tried Fable at a buddy's house, it was fun but I don't think I'll need to buy it. Maybe just a rent down the road.

Definitely considering Mass Effect, It came out before I had a 360 and when I finally got one I had other priorities. It was a game I was always interested in and its super cheap now, thanks for reminding me of that one.

Any suggestions help, keep em comin :D

Get the Platinum Edition. It comes with Bring Down The Sky, I think. I dont recomment Fallout 3. I thought it was too slow and I didnt think the ending was that good, nor the story itself. The combat was also lackluster.

Thanks, I think I will probably stay away from Fallout 3, its just not my kind of game and I don't want to risk the $60.

Yeah, if you end up wanting to check it out you might want to rent it but I definately dont recommend buying it. Same with Left 4 Dead. Theres no substance to the game and it gets incredibly boring fast. Also, people are saying its innovative but what is innovative about it? They say the AI Director; No. They say the AI Director changes the enemy locations and where the special infected comes at you but theyre still always in the same general area. Theres next to no variety in weapons and the weapons are dull and no fun to use. Multiplayer isnt that great either.

I rented Left 4 Dead the day it came out, I'm glad I did. I was really excited for it but was cautious at the same time which prevented me from buying it. I rented it for 7 days, played it for 6. It was really fun the first playthrough and it was challenging on expert but like you said it get boring very fast. Not to mention the community is filled with team killers.

So far the top games on my list are (in no order)

Mass Effect
Very intrigued by this game, forgot all about it and its super cheap. Brand new for under $20

GTA4
Rented this one when it came out, I had fun playing it. Online is pretty much what I was expecting I can also get this one fairly cheap.

COD4
I had this when I had my PS3 and was addicting to it for probably 6+ months. I've wanted to pick it up for 360 but was afraid I wouldn't get into it like I did on the PS3.

Condemed/Condemed 2
Watched some pretty messed up videos online of these games, love scary games so I might check these out.

There are a bunch of games I want to go back and play, Mass Effect is probably at the top of the list right now. Now I need to decide what game to look forward to now that RE5 is out

Yeah, I made the mistake of buying it  GTA4 got boring IMO, but I cant really play the open world games for long without being bored. If you get Call of Duty 4, add me xP I love it Condemned is amazing and Condemned 2 is okay. Also, check out Vegas 2. Insanely fun.

Thank you, I actually forgot all about Dead Space. It's definitely one I want to play but not sure if I need to own it or not. How much replayability does it have? Also any online?

Well no online but the scares are great and worth going in again after a while. There's also a lot of stuff to be learned about the Ishimura and the Marker. Try decoding the Necromorph code if u really wanna learn about em :). Amazing how much stuff they put in the lore.

Oh, I have Gamefly, it's a great investment, make sure if you do get it to get the 2 game plan, its the best deal of them all. However use it for games that just came out because it is a better deal money wise. What I tend to do is to buy the cheap games that are 20 bucks which I wanna play, then I play the hell out of them for a few weeks or a month and then trade them in towards my Gamefly account which gives far much better money than Gamestop.

Nice man, I didn't know you could do that. I signed up for a free trial about a year ago but there just wasn't enough games for the PS3 I wanted to play. I'll definitely have to do that. Thanks!
