I hope they release some type of news. However I haven't seen anything about any new Rainbow Six game. If they do I can only hope it doesn't have to deal with Vegas again.

Ubisoft said the game game won't take place in Vegas. But I'm guessing it would be out 2012+.
Im sure just after the release of tom clancy's h.a.w.k and Endwar they said they are not going to be making another rainbow six game. It is massively disappointing seeing i am a huge fan and loved both games, Tom if you are reading this then make another Rainbow six game or i will do something that probably won't make a difference at all (like a petition or a facebook page!! yes i know your scared!)
The last two games were good, but not as good as they could/should have been, and they tended to suffer from pretty dumb AI. If it was announced this year I'd think it'll release late 2011.
R6V2 has not aged well. So I'm guessing their next outing will feature update graphics, a new engine, and new gameplay elements. R6V2 felt too much like the first, except for the co-op mode which I thought was very fun.

i agree... i preferred the online game play of the first RB6V rather than the 2nd one. but that's just me.
I really enjoyed the series, especially R6V1. I spent countless hours online with friends and whatnot, loads of fun. Hopefully they make an announcement soon.
