Superman. I was reading an article very similar to this topic and the writer/designer of Batman is interested in working on a Superman game. Personally, I think a Spawn game would be perfect for this crew. Very similar in many aspects.ChristopherRageSuperman? really? Tsk tsk.
Probably a third and final entry in their Batman saga. Trilogies just seem to be what's up these days. After that I couldn't really care less. I don't like DC nearly as much as I do Marvel. I'd love to see an Iron Man gamedone well, but I'm not holding out hope. Aren't they owned by WB?

Yes, and what a cool game that would be! I would like a superhero game that's away from the mainstream characters, and this would be it.

Problem with a Spawn game is the same problem with a Superman game. Spawn has wayyy too many powers. And seeing as his cape would have to be almost its own character, the animation would have to be incredibly tight. If there owned bye wb..How about a Justice league of America game..This way you can play all five members..

His story is unique and if anything the animations would be more of a good challenge for a creative design team.
Rocksteady is owned by Warner Bros who owns DC... so don't name any Marvel characters; because it won't happen.
I would like to see them tackle Aquaman(obviously), The Flash, or Green Lantern.
Aquaman? Really? I agree with Green Lantern, But Flash...meh. And while WB may indeed own Rocksteady, doesn't mean we can't talk about which Marvel hero we'd like to see them do a game about.Rocksteady is owned by Warner Bros who owns DC... so don't name any Marvel characters; because it won't happen.

Not specifically superheroes here, but why not make a Rocksteady & Bebop game just for the lulz? But anyway, if they made another hero game, I agree with an earlier poster about making a proper Iron Man game. IM2 just simply sucked.Drakebunny
I disagree about IM2 sucking, although it wasn't great.
A well made Iron Man game would be very appreciated, however.
Dead Pool, Spawn, or Ghost Rider. IMO the crew at Rocksteady really gets that feeling of griddiness and brutality that these characters require. Riding around Hell and where ever else on a motor cycle sounds incredibally badass. Dead Pool would be really interesting because he uses guns so seeing how Rocksteady would pull that off sounds interesting. They've got great voice acting and hearing him do his witty puns sounds sweet. But I really think the Spawn game is where they would shine. He's such a badass anti hero and I think they could really pull off the overall immersive feeling with Spawn as they did with Batman. Using stealth by blending into walls, regenerating limbs, and some kickass methods of traversing the city would make one hell of a game.
I'll play any game made by Rocksteady. I would like to see an awesome Punisher game, but that's Marvel so it probably wouldn't happen. Maybe DC will make a new superhero to introduce in a game. I wouldn't want a Superman game, though.
Deadpool gets boring, very quickly.
Wolverine would get boring, very quickly.
A Nightcrawler or Iceman game would be boss.
My god if Rocksteady could take the original Punisher game on the previous gen consoles and improve it. That would be an orgasmic game.
The game I would truly like to play, would be one entirely from the Joker's perspective. The Joker is hands down my favorite comic book character of all time, and I would love to play a game with a campaign playing as him, instead of against him. The only problem would be that playing as the Joker may pose some possibilities or choices in the game that are too extreme or too dark.
However, sticking to superheroes, my vote would go to Martian Manhunter or Wonder Woman. I think both characters could transfer over to video games very well, have cool powers that would be fun to use, and I like their individual backstory's enough to warrant playing their games.
I don't think I would like a JLA game, unless they could find a way to make it extremely different from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2. Since I don't see a way of them really changing the formula on a superhero group game, I don't think it would bring anything new to the table other than a different set of characters to use.

Have you ever even read a Deadpool comic..?
Grittiness? Deadpool? Really?
Maybe if it's an Uncanny Xmen game yes, but even then he's the comic relief of the team. The Joker gets away with being funny in AA because he is so twisted. Deadpool is just silly humor.
Okay, I'm about to rip off all the best character ideas here: Spawn has potential. Ghostrider- either the cycling would have to be done perfectly, or it would need to be kept as a cinematic device only. The Punisher would be awesome, but for melee combat he'd have to fight with a knife- it would be closer to Assassin's Creed's fight system than Arkham's. Iron Fist- too awesome to put in a videogame- the world would implode. Bad Ideas: Wolverine is too berserk for the combat system they've crafted. For the penultimate Wolverine game, play Xmen Origins. Superman- you just can't make a good Superman game- but then, they said the same thing about Batman. And my idea: Daredevil- it'd be almost identical to Batman, which sure wouldn't be a bad thing.El_Zo1212o
Iron Fist just won this entire thread.
I can't believe I forgot about him! He's one of my favorites :D
This so much. I love spiderman... but his games are soo bad.Open world Spiderman with fully realized swinging around a bustling New York City with the polish that Batman AA and AC have. I would absolutely love that type of a game.
Wopps
I know you better than this dude, hehe but Superman flyes 100 times faster than spiderman swings, also if someone punches superman and he flies to a building due to the impact, and the building stops the character it would feel so akwardThere has been an open world Spidey game.

Eh? Lol i was just saying to the poster above that there already has been a Spiderman open world game. 2 i think. What has Superman got to do with anything?Although i must admit a Superman game would be a bad idea.
But a reboot of Superman 64 on XBLA would be boss......
