NFS Shift or Forza 3??

For Christmas, should I get Forza Motorsport 3, or NFS Shift. I've played both demos and I like both. On almost all of the review sites that I have seen, the games get almost the same rating. Which one is better for me to get?

Well, do you like simulation racing games? If so. Forza is the way to go. It's much more realistic than Shift.

I have played both, I would say get Forza 3 because it has more vehicals. Plus, you can upgrade the cars alot more.

I've heard a lot of great things about Need for Speed Shift, but I think Forza 3 is definitely the best choice. There's dozens of cars to choose from, great tracks, and the cars are even highly customizable. The online games are always a lot of fun, and it allowed for a nice bonding time with my brother and I. :P

Just wondering, did you check metacritic? I'm pretty sure the difference is nearly 10 points less for NFS Shift I believe (Forza 3 92 and Shift like a 82-84). I'd recommend Forza 3 anyway but just checking wondering which sites you went to.
