Forza and PGR say hi :) yeah those are also legitimate options, you're right. But GT is still the mother of all racing games.
I would argue that PGR Forza & GT are a different genre than NFS Undercover and Midnight Club. Completely different games cannot be compared, apples and oranges. But yeah, Midnight Club is by far the better series and the better game.

he has his fanboy goggles on what did you expect? thats what i was thinking too. GT is fun...but I still like Forza more in comparison. PGR, GRID, and Dirt are all good games too!

You forgot Gran Turismo> at the beginning. you forgot its not the ps3 forum its the xbox forum Every time I see your name I think "DJ Robust". Like a cup of strong coffee using turntables. lol MC:LA is a really great street racing game. The in-car view is awesome and actually a lot better then PGR4, granted PGR4 came out over a year ago. The vehicle sounds in MC:LA are top notch! There's not a huge selection of cars to choose from, but the ones that the game does offer don't disappoint. Except the motorcycles, their handling is a little too twitchy, especially using the on-board camera, and take a while to get used to. As for NFS Undercover from what I've been hearing, being as I haven't played it yet, it's a step backwards from Most Wanted in a lot of opinions. So if you want a NFS game, go grab a used copy (or new if you can find it) of Most Wanted instead.

dirty dish i loved the GT games till i played forza and feel forza 2 is better for several reasons 1. damage damage damage 2. you can just glide along the walls in GT and still win, if you try that in forza youll lose. 3 the customization of forza is far better than that of any GT 4. xbox live, racing friends, and the car packs turn10 puts out for forza and the auction house and tournaments need i say more...
I don't have NFS Undercover or Midnight Club LA. I do have NFS Underground up to Pro Street and have played Midnight Club III as well. For what I heard Midnight Club LA would probably be better especially since they just updated it toning down the difficulty, one of the flaws people talked about before. I love GRID, DiRT and the PGRs but that's just me. I have Forza 2 as well, good game for the wheel.

At this point, I don't know how anyone would still take Gran Turismo over Forza. Both have great driving physics, but Forza has a greater community, better customization options, and realistic damage. Until we see a new GT, maybe it will overtake Forza, but it's just silly to think otherwise. And yes, I've played every Gran Turismo since the first one came out back on the PS2 (GT3 was the best).
