For the last couple of days, whenever I get into an online game of NHL 08, the face-off glitch starts happening. It stopped for a little and since last night its been doing it again. I have recycled my router/modem a couple times and still nothing. I am using a wireless connection but my modem is in the next room, no more then 15 ft away. According my to 360, my connection is perfect. Does anyone know what the problem is or is it just EA's god awful online?
Bingo.
Yea, I've had that happen a lot. Sometimes if you exit it wont count against you, but if you want the win you have to play the waiting game with the other player.
I hate the hip check bug. Where after you hit the guy he just keeps falling over and over again.
Or the bug where the puck gets stuck near the post or behind the goalie, and nobody can touch it.
I think the Faceoff one IS because of EA servers, but it really doesn't happen much. I've put in over 400 games easy, and seen it maybe 3 times. 2 of them were right in a row though...I say wait it out.
And PS, NJ is awesome. They are my team too. I live in New Jersey though. Glad we at least got Rolsten, Hossa is such a sellout.

What I don't understand about New Jersey is that they're a consistently winning team, yet they got low attendance. What are ticket prices like there?

like 80-120 for decent seats. It ranges.
Tell me about it though, nothing's more sickening than having more Ranger fans than Devils fans in your own freaking building!!!! I couldn't believe when they lost, in their own building, and people are going crazy cheering. Was confused and disappointed. Where are the fans at.
I believe the glitch is isolated to New Jersey fans. Something about the suckage of the team relating directly to connectivity....Skullcandy
3 cups in 10 years, who's your team?

Dude its just a glitch. Happened to me too. Trade it in at gamestop if there is one around you and get money while you can. They're still selling 08' for like $40. Pre-order 09. Its almost here.

I too live in Ontario, but I'm an Avalanche fan.
The thing about Leaf nation is that most of the people who go and fill the seats in the ACC are not hardcore Leaf fans at all. The last time I was at the ACC, it was Sidney Crosby's NHL debut in Canada (it was awesome) and I looked around and saw rich business men in suits everywhere. That's just the way it is.
However, this year looks extremely painful to be a Leaf fan.

lol they have officially entered the Tavares Sweepstakes, Long Island also entered it with the firing of Ted Nolan. He was the only thing going for that franchise, I say they get rid of that clown Snow. He is the worst GM in the league, I'm suprised that instead of firing Ted Nolan, he didn't just sign him to a 20 year contract.
