NHL 09 Demo!!!

Yea, it's been out for PSN for almost a week now.

I really didn't like the camera in Be A Pro Mode. Sometimes it was trying to rotate on me and go the wrong direction when I dangled...It's still a must buy, and yet again will be Sports game of the year. I was hoping the changes would be a little smoother though.

I love all of the additions though...The gameplay additions/Solid Leagues/Online MMO/etc...

You get both. A period in Be a Pro, and a period in just a regular game.

In Be a Pro though, you don't even get to pick your player...I chose the wings and they stuck me with Zetterberg I think.

Well I said I had an issue with the camera in Be A Pro Mode. The only other problem I had was, they changed the hitting. So I constantly find myself letting a guy sprint down the boards, and I try and line him up with the old hip check by hitting towards him on the right analog stick...my player just stops and does a shove, and the guy just skates right past me.

It's not even a complaint really, just sucks breaking habbits they made us fall into with last years controls. I just have to get used to it. I've seen a few decent hits, but I haven't seen any huge hits besides one which I wont spoil :) Everything else in the game is perfect, EA has another sports game of the year title here.

If anyone figures out how to lift your opponents stick let me know...didn't figure it out yet.

I love it but one timers are dead in NHL 09... It's so hard to score a goal. :(DA_B0MB

Tell me about it. Most of mine come from the wing, I just try and top shelf it over the goalies shoulder. I find it's easier to score in Be a Pro then it is in a real game.

PS3 is actually what I downloaded it for so it worked and I didn't think anything of it. Kinda funny.

Yeah the only goal I scored the legit way (I got a couple on empty nets) I had to pass around for about 10 seconds and slapped it from the perimeter Zdeno Chara-esque.
