He's a lot better than all of the wannabe "gangstas" of san andreas. Which characters do you prefer and why does he blow?
unfortunately i LIKED that "wannabe" gangsta of San Andreas.... CJ kept me entertained for 5+ play-throughs......Niko on the other hand.....im still treading through my 1st......i dont know if he's an Ice Cold Immigrant......or a Cupcake European....other than that he's just boring.....

There are some side characters that are better because they have enough to to do all their best lines but not enough to show their worst but for a GTA main character Niko is the best there ever was.

niko was a good character, why dont you like him give reasons, and whats up with vance?? vance is a good character, not so good in vice city because he f's u over in the end. but if you ever played on ps2 vice city stories he is you brother and is a really funny character for a gta brother. needless to say he gets you in loads of **** and lives off ur cash but vance rocks in vice city stories which is really the game where u get to see his true character
the worst character by far is CJ, no charisma, no personality. i did like the gangsta element in san andreas but could we not have had someone with at least half a brain? niko on the other hand came across as cool, witty and intelligent.
No way man there is so much drama surrounding him and he is voiced very well. I would have to say the main character from GTA3 would have to be the worst since he never spoke.
No he is not only the best character in the GTA series, he is one of the best characters in video game history. This is coming from a person who isn't even a huge fan of the series. Vice City is great, but San Andreas is terrible.

CJ was easily the worst... I couldn't stand him or the initial setting of the game. San Andreas was amazing from a technical standpoint, but they dropped the ball when choosing that setting and that character.
Yeah i agree, of the characters i've played in the GTA series, Niko most definitely sucked the most closely followed up by Claude... DID HE GET HIS TONGUE CUT OUT? or is he telepatic? how else can he communicate with guy on each sides of a closed door?
One of my favorite charcters in the GTA games is Brucie. I just love the way that he "PUMPS IT TO THE MAX!". He's so hilarious because of how hard he tries to prove his toughness *rolls eyes*.
Rofl. You must have a bad taste in game characters than. I hated the whole wannabe gangster, swearing around, smoking weed all the time. GTA IV atleast had a better story with Niko Bellic.
