I was about to make a topic about Ninja Gaiden 2. Glad to see something is happening. The xbox original came out over three years ago.

I just hope we don't have to wait much longer. Early 2008 would be good.

There's bound to be an achievement for completing the game on Master Ninja difficulty. I wonder how many people will get it? I've been playing Ninja Gaiden since the day it came out and I've never beat Master Ninja mode.

I'm also thinking about possible multi-player? Ninja Gaiden death match or capture the flag? Maybe even some type of online co-op?

I can't wait for TGS.

Funny thing is that yesterday I was thinking about the next Ninja Gaiden.. Funny how life works huh?

Ohhhh great!!!!! I 'm sooo looking forward to this game. Is one of the best game I have ever played. I really hope the sequel surpass the first release of this incredible game, it is a real challenge. Come on Team Ninja, don't make us wait for to long.!!!

Seems to me like Team Ninja games don't usually take too long to release once they are announced. Unlike some other games... *cough* too human *cough*

I think they'll include a Ninja Dog type mode for new comers. There's lots of people who're put off Ninja Gaiden because it's too hard.

I know Sigma had a different director from the xbox versions but I'd be very surprised if Itagaki isn't back in the driving seat for NG2.

I wouldn't say Sigma is easier. Normal mode is easy and there are more shop and save locations than there are in the xbox versions but hard mode is still a challenge. I've played the xbox versions that much that I find normal mode in those games easy too so I'm not saying Sigma is any different.

I'm sure of one thing though, Team Ninja know how to use the hardware so this should be something very special. If it isn't people might start to think Ninja Gaiden was a bit of a fluke.
