Ninja Gaiden II Final Boss Help

Alright, I need help with the final boss battle in Ninja Gaiden II

I finished his first form and need help with his final. . .

I'm getting closer every time, but some tips would help.

You only told me one thing different that I was doing
The moves that you spin the stick in circles and presed Y

But that helped a load it made him take much more damage
