How would you even know before you got to..I don't know PLAY the game? However, I digress because I've made purchases based on hype alone and those games turned out to be AAA titles as well.

from what i wrote i never hinted or said that it was gods gift im passing this on because people want the content from the pc version and are wondering if they are getting it and this will shut up the topics on it.
This is stupid you pay for the game its self not the PC or Xbox version you pay for the game and if then dont treat every one equal it think they should be sued,I payed for Gears of war and i whant all the content that comes with the game.you cant just go hay heres gears of war online on 360,then a year latter say heres gears of war on PC + 5 more levels and extra stuff the 360 version dosent have.thats bull ****.

Give me a break.
360 players have had the game since November 06 and been able to get everything out if it that it offered. Now they are branching into the PC market and for it to be successful they need to include more content, because PC gamers are picky and react harshly to sloppy ports.
In the interview Rein explains why there is no additional content for the 360 version and that answer should be sufficient. Who really cares about 5 levels? As Epic said, 'they don't have the man power' and perhaps that manpower is being used to create Gears 2. And if that were the case would you rather have Gears 2 or 5 new maps for the first game?
All this crying about "We deserve content" or "360 fans are getting the shaft" is really quite hilarious, ridiculous, unnecessary, unneeded, useless, juvenile and clearly falling on deaf ears.
As some very enlightened poster said, there are many other GREAT games being released this November and many of them cast a shadow over 5 measly maps.
Yes there are plenty of other great games coming out, but that isn't the point. Don't get me wrong I'm all for giving PC gamers a game that isn't a sloppy port. However for a developer that is supposed to be fan driven/for the fans, that decision goes directly against it. It's not just five maps as you so plainly put it, it's 5 whole chapters. Which if you have played gears before you would know is no smallsize and is double the original. Not to mention one of the new boss battles is with a Brumak! Persnally I think that excuse is a complete load.
Anywaythe complaint is that we paid $60 for essentially half a game.
I dont care i will be playing so many other games, I have a gaming pc so If i wanted to i could. COD4 will be taking all my time this year and maybe half of next.. Well on 360 atleast..
Gears is overated anyways, apart from the great grahics there aint to much to shout hurray for. I would rather play Mass Effect this holliday season rather than MS milking a few more bucks out of my pockett for more maps for a overrated game
