No hype about Black Ops? Seriously, who can't wait?!

I can't. I have a feeling black ops is making some great changes, and with a zombies mode mixed with the MW formula, It seems its going to be fantastic!

I won't be getting it unless it's gifted. While I haven't played a Call of Duty game, I've been a loyal BF player since 2005, and I don't care for a change of pace. Plus, have you been to GameFAQS sir? That game is a hype machine there.

The current COD franchise is a joke compared to what it used to be like. The first one that only came out for the PC years ago was amazing, and is one of the best games I have ever played. Now they are pumping them out like hotcakes and they seem to progressively get worse. I mean come on, it's supposed to be a game centered around warfare, yet it feels like a summer action movie. All the ADD-riddled teenagers love it though because they get to shoot things.

Yea, you have a good point about the weapons. I'd shoot the pistol and it felt like a BB gun. The campaign was exciting at times, I'll admit, but I hated the fact that it was nothing like a war game and was just straight out of a James Bond-esque movie. That's not what COD is supposed to be.

Its the last game I'll be buying this year. Really excited for it. MW2 had its problems but I still played the hell out of it. Black Ops seems like a step up I just hope Treyarch doesn't do the same thing like with W@W and make the A.I spam tons of grenades and call that "veteran difficulty". :\

I'll rent it for the story. I don't enjoy online as much as I used to. The only cod game I got into online was the original Modern Warfare because it was something we'd never seen before. Now they add tiny things into a game and it's *NEW*.

Why is everyone comparing this to MW2...if anything compare it to WaW which from my experience had no glitches, bugs, or bad hosting after a couple months of release. Treyarch is a MUCH better dev. than Infinity Ward. Yes, i am very excited for Black Ops...just dont know wether to get for PC or my xbox 360...

yup, best way to maximize sniper training is against bots... start off slow then learn the mechanics and snipe zones on each map
