The game has taken bloody ages, I've lost all my hype for it. Anyone else feel the same?

I have never been hyped for the game. Until it gets an official announcement I could care less about it.
I don't see how anyone could be hyped for it. Its taking forever... I guess were lucky we see a video on it every year or so. At least we know its still in development.
I don't think I would use the word "hyped". I would say that I'm interested in this game the same way I was before. I want to know more about it, I like to follow the updates but I'm not overly excited. That would come when it has a release date (if at all).
I think hype is one of the worst things we can do to ourselves. Rarely does a game (movie, event, etc) live up to those expectations. Truthfully I can't remember the last time I was super excited for something and it didn't disappoint on any level. Better to go in neutral I think.
ya? how many ppl working on it? 3? 1 for art 1 for programmer 1 for dirictor. are they going hire a forth for testing?I don't see how anyone could be hyped for it. Its taking forever... I guess were lucky we see a video on it every year or so. At least we know its still in development.

In the year 2020 we can use it to show our children how much games have improved graphically. Every hour of gameplay equals one year of development.[QUOTE="Childeater10"]

Hopefuly the years of development will make it a worthwile experience.
Maybe it will have a good story thats more then an hour long, and also have good graphics.
If anyone here wants to see some real Alan Wake gameplay you should check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qoa9XiaGIa4. Althought he is running like he is in some kind of a cartoon, graphics look really nice

after watching this i'm sooo hyped
hopefully by taking all this time their game will be beautiful landscapes and an engaging story. But if there is no showing at E3, i will be a little crestfallen.
