So your saying Major Nelson is not a official source for MS. I find that kind of funny! info wasnt from major nelson... so meeeeeeh[QUOTE="Geminon"]not from an official source at an official announcement? rumor and speculation, and not factual in the least.rrjim1
all of my posts are factual... backed up by information from official statements. get more mad that you cant separate fact from rumor.Geminon
y'all realize that the only reason this is happening is because the XBOX is going to block used games right? i mean.... its pretty clear. the 360 sells more games than the playstation 3....so they are probably assuming this trend will continue with the new one... in which case why would they need online passes?Geminonnow gtfo

Some games now you have to pay to play online if it's used. I didn't even know till I got home. The people at Gamestop don't even say anything about the $10 activation fee. I'm only assuming it'll be more for the xbox one. I'd probably just go half on a game with a friend, still spend less money even after the activation fee.Ashukeyou cant go half on a game unless you both share the same account.... which means you cant be playing at the same time. games are tied to accounts now.
awwww. your inability to put together a solid argument showed up so fast.... im sorry you cant hold it together under pressure. pressure? another word you obviously dont understand. like facts, or opinion. ur lil monkey brain must be ablaze attempting to back paddle out of saying "xbox will block games" is an opinion and that u only state in facts. if u just accept ur mistake, ill stop making you look like an feeble minded idiot. oh, and ur not making any argument, ur simply full of s**t, theres a difference. im not arguing with you, im s**ting on u. because thats all ur statements are good for :) but keep on trying, its funny to see what you consider as trash talk, its like im in middle-school again :P oh man... super mad. look at him writing novels explaining why he is right, lol.[QUOTE="Geminon"][QUOTE="i-rock-socks"] ur too dumb to argue with, so i wont. congrats :) ur stupidity saved you XDi-rock-socks

Thats hardly reliable for anything. Microsoft has conflicted themselves dozens of times since the announcement. The guy on stage was saying stuff the official twitter page was saying, the facebook page had different info than what was being said in interviews and so on. If MS themsevles cant even get their story straight why in the hell would I believe that link?
Even if they dont have fees I still dont want one. They created way too many issues for me already.
yet everyone is getting the torches and pitchforks cause of the rumored fee. people believe all the bad rumors and none of the good ones. i agree tho, i trust major nelson to be accurate. but im still holding my breath for something more concrete im actually looking forward to new xboxThats hardly reliable for anything. I'd just like to point out a better article on this matter from gamespot, which this thread might aswel go away

Basicly you do have to pay a fee, if you sell it to your friend or lend it to your friend. what he saying is if you sell your games to a shop then they have to put it through a software sweep which they will have from microsoft this will take the ownership off the disc being used, and then they can sell it whatever price they want, but the crack is when they sell it, they have to give a percentage to the DEVELOPER of the game and MICROSOFT. and thats how you don't have to pay a fee, so inreality there still screwing us.Â
Qoute "According to retail sources speaking with MCV, retailers will be able to charge whatever they want for secondhand Xbox One games, but Microsoft and publishers will receive a cut of every transaction."
