i just have to get this off my chest becuz it is annoying the &%$* outta me. THERES NO SUCH THING AS COD5 ppl!!!!!! yea i kno its the 5th installment of the call of duty series but its not titled Call Of Duty 5 its Call Of Duty World At War. idk if this is gonna get locked but i just wanted to see if this or any other misreferences in titles annoy anyone else.
i don't c how something like a couple of letters n numbers can bother u... let ppl call games whatever they want, not like its goin to kill u or anything
Who cares?! If it is the fifth installment, then it could be classified as CoD5. Besides, before World at War was announced, what would people reference the next in the series as? Call of Duty 5.

It's W@W not COD5. COD5 will come out when Infinity Ward puts it out. If your going to call it COD5 because it's the next COD game then you might as well go all the way and call it COD8 since W@W will be the 8th COD game to come out not including the expansion for the original PC game.

Exactly what i was going to put. It pisses me off more seeing people correct anyone who says COD5 instead of COD:WAW. If someone says COD:WAW,COD5 or THE NEW CALL OF DUTY GAME, you will understand what they are talking about. As its THE NEW COD game.

It is the fifth edition of Cod therefore I see Why people call it cod 5 ( I myself call it that). If something this small can get on your nerves than you have OCD. You shouldn't get angry at people however if they call it something different to what you call it.
as long as you know what people are reffering to, then it doesn't matter. Sometimes it just takes too long to put the entire title of the game... do u want us to say CoD4 Modern Warfare also? Or Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion? Calling CoD World at War, COD5 should not be a concern...

But it's not the fifth edition of COD. Have you forgotten Finest Hour and Big Red One? Those games are the exact same as what W@W is, a spin off to a great series but developed by a mediocre company. Just because it's coming out right after COD4 doesn't automatically make it COD5.

eh, come on guys, not a big deal. it's alot easier to type cod5 instead of cod: waw. when cod5 is officially announced, people will begin refering to the most current cod by it's normal title.Â
