To make it short, I finally started getting my wife into gaming. She really enjoys playing games with co-op with me but I need some help finding some games that I think she'd like. We have played Fable 2, which she enjoys but she's mostly into the buying houses, starting families and such part of the game and doesn't seem too interested in the rpg aspect or the story. We recently bought Resident Evil 5 and although it took her awhile to get used to the controls, we have been having a blast with it. We beat it for the first time last night and plan on trying harder difficulties soon.

She doesn't like FPS games (yet) and I think the controls/fast paced gameplay might be a little too much for her anyways.Resident Evil was easy for her to adjust to since you didn't move while you fired your weapons, not sure how she'd do on somethingwhere you move and shoot at the same time but want to give it a shot. So I'm looking for some 3rd person co-op games. I know Gears of War seems like a no brainer and might try it out but it also might be a little too war themed for her tastes. She saw a commercial for Kane & Lynch and thought it looked funbut due to the bad reviews I'm not sure if it would be worth trying out. So any recommendations? She wants something that is also going to either take awhile to beat or has tons of replay value.

Thanks

Army Of Two 1 & 2, Crackdown 1 & 2, Kane & Lynch 1 (I hear it's better than 2), Mercenaries 2: World In Flames and Too Human.

@TC: Try renting Kane and Lynch if you're not sure about wanting to get it due to the reviews it got. If you like JRPG you could try getting her to like Tales of vesperia, it is 4 players after all, or eternal sonata can be fun as well with someone else.

As someone else mentionned above, the Lego games are definitively something she will like playing.

Should it be shooter or rhythm games like guitar hero, rock band and lips are in?

Check out XBLA for some great co-op games. Splosion Man, Castle Crasher, Lara Croft GoL are all really fun to play co-op. They are fairly basic to pick up and there isn't too much depth to the gameplay, but the difficulty scales really well.

Please use the stickied Xbox 360 game recommendations thread at the top of the page for advice on what game(s) to get.

Thanks!
