Ok in like every video or picture of the XBL or XBLM slide on the main menu of x360 I see people have stuff in the featured downloads sections and other parts that have info on tournaments and other downloadable content and I was wondering how you get stuff to show up in there?!
You have a child account, meaning that when the profile was created, you were under 18. There is a glitch that even when you turn 18 it does not turn into an adult account, but hopefully it will be fixed soon.
The only way for the adds to appear are to basically make a new profile and gamertag, and just lie about your age saying you are over 18, but that would make you other account pointless so your best bet is to deal without having the ads, they are nothing special
Im not sure but you cant really complain about something so trivial as ads and messenger which isall optional content. As long as Microsoft keeps pumping out amazing exclusives, thats all you really need, because you didnt buy the 360 to look at ads or to use MS chat, you bought it for awesome games.
I agree with you 100% but seeing that Ive had the 360 well before the marketplace blade and all, Im already used to checking for new demos and such manually
I got mine on launch date so yeah i have had mine since before the blade came out and everything else but still would be nice. oh well time to go play GoW thanks for the help!
I never knew you have to have an adult account to get advertisements. That's so dumb. I'm 13 and I still made an adult account. I hate kid accounts, you can't do anything. I agree with lazygamer.
