NOOO!Gears of War isn't working! omg!

The disk is unreadable ,what do i do,omg this is my favourite game,im so mad!!!

Is there anywere i can get it for really cheap liek 30 or 40 bucks?im from canada

Why does this have to happen to me!!

It says clean disk and all that stuff,but its not even that scratched up!

My 360 tipped over while gears was in it and it got a deep circular gash in it. For a while it would only play for a little bit and the i would get that meesege but i wiped it with a clean cloth and it works fine now. Save for longer loading times and some choppiness here and there.

I would suggest a diskwizard. Or there is a chance that it is your console. Try other games and see if it does the same thing. And if so, you need to send it in the be repaired.

You dont understand,this game is the best game i have ever played. My friend said he would give me his,but he also said for his single player it would be unreadable and the disk clean up thing would pop up,but he said it worked fine for online.

I still have a feeling that his copy is going to mess up in the long run,he never plays it,but when i get it im going to play the craap out of it.

Im so dissapointed,why does it have to be my favourite game that messes up omg i still cant belive this

Wipe it with a lint free cloth and some distilled water, maybe there's something blocking the laser.

Find a local retailer or video rental place that has a disc resurfacer and get it cleaned. Most game crazy/hollywood videos have them and they charge like $2. If its not to bad then that will fix it.Rockfan_66

Try getting in contact with the gears of war publisher (Microsoft? I am not 100% on that) and you can usually send your disk back and get it replaced for like £5 here which would be $10 (a big saving from $30-$40).

Also you could try as somebody else mentioned the cd scratch repair thing at a shop to see if it can be sorted as this can work as well.

actually i searched up some stuff on youtube

and i used toothpaste,yes toothpaste,and put it on the disk, but before that i put hot water on disc,ANWAYS,it works for now,,so im happy,but still am scared for later on,,ill be purchasing some disc cleaners as well
