The ones that came with my console lates a surprisingly long time... in fact, they never did actually die, I just took them out after about a week and put my rechargables in. They were probably a bit less than half at that point.

For me, having a Wii and a 360 rechargables are a godsend, and much better than having charge and play/charge stand peripherals from the compaies, as they can be used in both consoles. I highly recommend them to anyone, they're pretty cheap compared to how many batteries you'd buy otherwise.

Mine last a few days. And I pretty much play nonstop, with a headset.

Funny how no one has asked you if you use a headset or not before telling you how long your batteries will last.

I use the energizer rechargerable with a 15 min recharger it came with 4 batteries which mean i never worry about batteries because when 1 set goes dead i just change them real fast with the other set and charge the other set right then so they are ready when i need them.....SO FOREVER, I AM NEVER WITH OUT BATTERY LIFE
