......there is enough money to buy everything in the game unless u get 5 stars on hard. and thats hard how do u buy guitar, finishes, song, characters, and outfits if u get 350 bucks for a 4 star sreformance i think they should have gave more money

You get money for each time you do the song don't you?  So you could just keep doing the songs you are good at to get more money.  This shouldn't be a big problem.

Lame, ok.  I guess I hadn't noticed because I had been working through medium to get all 5 star ratings and I had been receiving money.  I guess its good I don't care much for the stuff in the store, I bought all the bonus songs (some of which really rock hard). I never really notice what's going on on stage so new characters, guitars and finishes aren't that important to me.

I don't know if they changed it, but on the original ps2 version, each song has a total amount of cash you get from it.  That amount is divided between medium, hard, and expert evenly.  Again using the original as an example, a song had a total $1800 to get from it.  5-star it on medium gets me $600, then 5-star hard for another $600, etc.  Now, if you go right to the hard/expert (like the ps2 probably did) and 5-star a song, you'll get the cash for that difficulty and below ( 5-star hard would net you $1200, 5-star expert first gets you the total).  3 and 4-stars would only get you a portion available to you.
