not looking forwared to MW2! am i the only one

i love cod games and play them online, and ive really enjoy them, Waw was gr8 cod 4 was amazing,im just not looking forward to Mw2 im stating to want somthing more from an online Fps now, im worried Mw2 looks as if its not bringin alot new to online play, and after playin WaW and cod 4 for the last few years online i find myself looking forward to the new flashpoint game alot more??Happywood

Well, i preordered the game, and when i actually found out how much they wanted for it, i found it utterly ridiculous (in Japan anyway) so I've since canceled it. The reason im no longer looking forward to it is that I've chosen not to buy it and i KNOW everyone on my FL is going to have it and trying to tempt me into wasting the money. I'm making a stand against money hungry devs here people!

I'm looking forward to it, whether or not it's just CoD4 again, CoD4 is a brilliant game, although I like the idea of more realistic FPS..

call of duty has gotten to the point where they are releasing a new installment as regularly as madden football games, and after playing essentially the same game for the past 6 installments, im sick and tired of call of duty, and i refuse to buy another one. i think it's funny how people complain that halo 3 was the same thing as halo 2 and halo 2 was the same as halo 1, and then they go and praise cod4 as the second coming of videogames, but last time i checked, cod4 was the same as 1, 2, and 3 yet those came out on a yearly basis whereas halo comes out once every 2-4 years. point is, i was tired of cod long before mw2 was ever even announced.

What are you trying to prove here? Ofc theres people who will buy it, others dont give a crap bout the game...it happens to every game. Well if you want to know, im not interested in this game, i know that BadCompany2 is only coming in 2010 but it looks much better so ill wait a bit. Cod4 got boring fast for me.gow117

MW2 is not one of the games ill be getting. ive had enough with CoD4 and WaW.

The only reason I'm even remotely interested in MW2 is that my friends will eventually migrate to this game. COD4 was awesome, but seriously, both WW2 and modern shooters are getting boring and the COD formula's not getting much fresher.bulletsword

Call of Duty 4 used a whole new game engine to the games before it and was set in a completely different era. There is a very big reason why CoD4 was rated so highly compared to all that came before it.

well you're statistics are flawed here because all of the call of duty's have held great critical reception, especially call of duty 2, and nearly all of them can compare with cod4's reviews. truthfully, the lowest cod review was the original which has an 8/10 average. and cod4 may have a new game engine and a new fresh coat of paint, but it plays IDENTICALLY to its predecessors. so sure, cod4 may have the slight edge for its average review score, but the truth is, it's still the exact same gameplay formula with the exact same shooting mechanics as the games that came before it.

To be honest iam ready to pay 200$ for MW2

If the Call of Duty Series has defined itself for anything it has been amazing simplicity. It has always had just the standard online modes, same generic FPS gameplay, But something about it keeps reeling in the players. That thing is that it's been around since the late 90's and every FPS player knows the CoD series. I myself own 3 CoD titles, the First 3 as a matter of fact. I love it because it's never going to change, it's reliable. I know for a fact CoDMW2 will have A Massive Player audience. If someone has never played an FPS before and wants to play it safe, the buy a CoD game. That's what I did. The series has opened me up to many other franchises. I. Love. Call of Duty.

But, that is also why I am not actually looking forward to CoDMW2. My impression is that it will be exacly like CoD4 with better graphics, mechanics, levels. All-in-all the same game updated and given a completly new level set. I will buy it once the price goes down. But at the point of release, you're just paying for CoD4 all over again.

I tried about every shooter I could, to get into one.......Rainbows, BAdcompany was fun like Rainbows but the aiming just feels wierd and the weapons Seem under powered and wierd....all wierd angles....Just the sight system and the perks except i hope they take the juggernuat out finally LOL

COD 4 WAS THE BOMB ONLINE and World at war is the BOmb also......You need a Challange BEat WAW on VEteran and then you can talk SH!&T LOL

Dont know, I like the series fast and powerfull...Guns kick have recoil and it fun to take ona bunch of way to serious guys using M-16 with my silinced uzi...Or thompson with the drum or DP with double tap

Anyone not anticipating this game is in a minority. COD is the only game I've ever seen my entire friends list play. Not all at once of course, even though at times all the people logged in where in COD. You either play COD or you play alone, to the people not purchasing MW2 enjoy playing by your self for a couple weeks...YoungSinatra25

mw2 is coming out with alot of great games this year but i think personally its going to be on the top of the list. i cant see how you would not like it or have no intrest in it at all.
