to get your multiplayer fragging fix, obviously GOW2 has horrendous server problems and is completely unplayable (for now). So anyone else having thoughts about getting COD5? Me, I might just transition back to Team Fortress 2, especially if they bring the new maps and weapons over to 360 that are already available in the PC version.
Haha get a better connection buddy, the multiplayer has no problems. The matchmaking is quick and there is virtually no lag. You need to buy internet service from someone other than Rite-Aid.
The server problems have gotten better every day since launch. I think the servers had a little bit of shell-shock. Anyway, thre is no way I'm getting WaW. I was very dissipointed in the beat and I am having a blast with GoW 2.

How is Gow2's multiplayer broken and completely unplayable? Personally, I have not had one server problem since the game came out, matchmaking takes under a minute, 2 max, and the game is a vast improvement in terms of gameplay mechanics.
I for one did not enjoy the WaW beta at all. It was the exact same thing as CoD4 with a different "paint job."
I have been Playing GOW2 and I have had no online problems and Team matching is taking under a minute or 2. I think you may want to check your internet service. Hopefully this helps you out.
