How do I tell if the box I'm holding has a 360 with the Falcon inside? I've waited months for a more reliable processor and simply won't buy a 360 unless I'm sure I'm getting a better quality system. Does anyone know how to tell?

just leave your 360 turned on for a few days, if it dies then you dont have the 65mm thing

There's no visable way to tell, at least from what I understand. The GPU is still big and runs hot so since you're fearful of the rrod why don't you just wait till next year and get the system with the smaller GPU aswell.

Has Microsoft confirmed a smaller GPU next year? I'm not sure, sometimes I miss news for days on end.

there is no 65nm chip and the red ring will always be here. i saw a video of a tear down of a new 360 and no new chips.

Your logic is stupid. If that's really the way you think, why won't you wait for an even smaller processor when the 65nm chip comes out? Just buy the 360 and enjoy it.

Wrong, the 65nm chips are out. Why bother making a post when you apparently know little about the subject?
