i shared this on the other forums, what do you guys think, i wonder if obama himself games, he's prolly out there between debates kicking mcain's ass on cod4 online hahaha
This topic is locked from further discussion.
And during last night's debate he claims that parents should turn off the TV sets and take away the video games.... I hate hypocrites. It's all a political game to get votes.
Personally, I think McCain would win on COD4 though, he actually knows military strategy. Too bad he can't move his arms.
I don't mind the ads in Burnout. What I hate are the spokespeople, there was this kid that played CoD4, and he swore he got paid to talk to people on XBL about Obama. He was so annoying, that I was an Obama supporter going in, and almost questioned it thanks to him. Annoying advertising doesn't work, when do people learn.
I think we can all agree though, campaign ads are always stupid. "Do you want to elect a man that beats up baby goats? Then don't vote Mccain." I hate political commercials with a passion.

He doesn't have anything against video games, he was saying parents shouldn't let TV's raise their kids.
Nice. I live in NJ, a highly democratic state so the ad isn't run here. I heard it's only being run in like 10 states. The ones that Obama's currently losing.
Last add I saw was for the movie Righteous Kill with Al Pacino and Deniro. I gotta check Burnout tonight and see what ads they have up now.
He's winning in all the states they're being featured They went Republican last election thoughNice. I live in NJ, a highly democratic state so the ad isn't run here. I heard it's only being run in like 10 states. The ones that Obama's currently losing.Mau-Justice
sorry i posted this twice but anyways what if it got to the point where they took it so far that you'll be playing GOW and a locust's body had Palin's head on it asking you to vote, hahaha, HEADSHOT!!!!!!!!!

Nobody could kill Palin, duh. Remember? She's a Maverick.

I think maybe the ads in Burnout, (like the election ones) should include both Democratic and Republican ads. But that is just me, but then again, Obama or his team is paying for the ads...so idk.
--laughs-- which politician doesn't raise taxes? Paying taxes is a part of life and each politician uses the same excuses. I'd rather see Obama being president because I think it would have a very positive effect on our country's racial problems and I believe it would improve our image as a country towards the rest of the world.
I think Mccain is to old for the job and the person he's elected as his vice president isn't qualified enough to lead a country like ours through this world in todays climate.
As for campaign ads in videogames, he's reaching out towards the younger voter, I'm not sure what effect it has, me personally, I'd probably drive by them without even noticing or paying a second thought.
It's a very good strategy, but I don't want to be bombarded with Obama ads while I'm gaming. I'm not voting for him no matter what he says. You can't lower taxes on 95% of the country when only 50% actually pays taxes. So that means he's going to redistribute my wealth to people who don't contribute to this country. I earned my money though hard work and never with the intention of giving most of it to a socialist state to distribute as it pleases. Every democratic candidate since Truman has promised to lower taxes and ended up raising them once they get into office. Take a look at his record and his economic plan and don't become sycophants to his charisma. Actually I'm not and you've provided no evidence to the contrary. However if I am please enlighten me and everyone else in the forum.

No, you're wrong, a lotHis plan isn't complicated
You take the top 5% of taxpayers, you increase their taxes from 36% to 39% By doing so it allows the rest of the taxpayers (that's the 95% part) to get more money in their pocket which goes right to into the economy.
The lies you're talking about with contributing to the country and such are just that, lies.

Taxes will go up and on everybody. Are you forgetting that 700 billion dollar bill that passes? Do you think that is going to come out of nowhere? Dont forget that it might be more than just 700 billion. Also do you find it unfair for those individuals that have killed themselves working hard to have the money they have. Some of those people have worked 80 hour weeks only to be slapped in the face by raising the percentage amount on their taxes. Obama was for the bail out as was McCain so I have zero respect for both of them. Obama is a politician and all politicians tell you is what they want you to hear and barely do anything they promised. Also a politician that has raised more than 50 million dollars should not be trusted since all that money is bribery money. Nobody gives you that much money just so you can be the president of the US and not pull any strings for them. Obama campaign has been about change and he has not said how he is going to change anything. My pick is Nader since he called those crooked banks out and opposed the bail out. These banks threaten our way of life by asking us to give them money or else they will freeze us out completely. Why are paying for their mistakes? They were giving out NO DOCUMENT LOAN, which means all you needed is a application and no proof of anything. Yes people jumped on it but alot of people were weasled into these loans and lied to. Its kind of hard for the average Joe american to read 100 plus pages of Mortgage mumbo jumbo and understand completely when you barely know anything about it. I know because I did mortgage loans and I had difficult time understanding everything. What you are saying are lied just repeating what Obama says but he hasnt shown any real solutions. What we need is economic minded president and Obama is not a econ major.

Stopped reading right there
Nader is a traitor to the country and everyone who follows him carries the same moniker.
His entire plan is to derail the political process by indulging in his sick need to garner attention. His supporters are only helping destroy the country, thankfully he's laughed out of every major conference and debate and most Americans understand he doesn't have the best wishes of the country in mind.
I have no patience for a man who puts himself over my country

And you got that from? At least mine is true. What major conference or debate was he laughed out of since any candidate outside of democratic or republican arent allowed. Why stop reading because you saw a truth? Would you give some one you didnt know that much money for no reason? Derail what the political process? Destroying the country? Are you serious? You should read up on the man since he is a major reason you have seat belt in your car. He has done a lot of good for this country and you dont even know it.
Yes this is a bias website but this man actually has experience and cares for Americans more than those 2 clowns.
