I was wondering if anyone else has had this bug happen to them whilst playing Oblivion on the 360, the Mages guild quest.. Necromancers Moon I know where the cave is but the only problem that make it harrd for me to do this queset is that the entire mountain side it's on simply isnt there, just a glitch that makes me fall to my death. I have tryed everything I can think of but still no solid ground, it really is getting boyond a joke, personaly I don't know if I can blame it on the game itself or on the most recent XBL update.
i have never encountered this bug mself but it sounds pretty bad you should keep searching for answers and post his on as many websites as you can maybe someone will have a soultion
yeah, as u can imagine, its a pain in the **** all i wanted to do was get the mages guile out the way but NOOoooo the games has other ideas and wants to spite me
lol id be very annoyed as well, some bugs happened to me and i have about 6 quests that i cant complete and get the reward for and i cant figure out why that happened either:(
do you already have access to the mages guild?? because if soo becoming the arch mage isnt that great, and besides you already have access to creating your own spells and making enchanted weapons. do you no how to enchant arrows beacause i want to know how.
i would asume enchanting arrows would be same as other weaps but i never tryed it, only reason i wanna do all te mage quests is so then I own all the guilds, that the only one i got to do apart from main story and arena
just looked for ya, there isnt a way to enchant Arrows on the console version, however for the PC version apparently there is a mosd that allows u to enchant them
guess the next game i buy b4 borderlands is oblivion 4 computer lol. srry i cant help 4 ur situation of the dissapering mountian tho. there has to be a way im gounna search the web 4 5 mins to find a solution, if you know how to track people track me.

I bet it all Microsofts fault as per usual.. they wouldnt give me a refund cos the Texas Hold Em game I had (full version) fromthe market place reverted back to trail and said I had to pay another 800ms points for the full game again, lol Microsoft seem to be a running joke that dont actualy care about it's customers as long as they getting the monmey from us
are you doing aquest calledRepairing the Orrery at the same time as doing necromancers moon because you cant do the quest while doingRepairing the Orrery the reason is that other people have been dissapearing into unknown places when trying to do the quest. check this site outhttp://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Quest_Timing
I have a question about the chorrol recomendation i gave the argonian the fingers of the mountain book and now the quest says "I have gave teekeeus the fingers of the mountaiand book now he will send the arcane university a reconmendation" and i advanced the time like a couple days and nothing has happened the quest doesn't get updated or anything it just says the same thing. I also have did this on another profile of mine and i gave the book to errana that time and then she gave me some notes that takes you to cloud top and you need a stone which i got then i used it got the spell and the quest was just completed and i didn't get a recomendation.
