hi guys

im buying the game and i watched a lot and a lot of videos for the game , i noticed something abou the game , its somehow slow i mean there a video that you go to the bookstore and watch that woman do magic stuff in the attic , if you knowed the video then you will know what i mean , is the real game like this? slow and have problems with framerate all the time? because i heard it makes some sort of cache on the HDD to get rid of framerate probs , is this right?

thanx

The vid you saw might have been on the PC, because there is a PC version too you know ;). I only have the PC version though so I'm not sure if that happens on the Xbox version.

I doubt it though or else it wouldn't get a 9.6...

There isn't a real framerate issue on the Xbox version, but there is a cache you can clear if you run into lag.

I can tell you that even after switching from the PC to the 360 version the framerate was disappointing for me. Sure, it's better than running the game on your parents' Pentium 3, but it could have been a lot better.

i've seen my girlfriends brother playing this game on the 360 and the lag was out of control, about every 7 seconds. he could hardly notice it though so i guess you can get used to it, but i'd look into any game you want to get nowadays being as some companies are pushing the envelope too hard for the 360's graphics

It's pretty poor at times i.e. when you're in the wilderness. It's even worse when you're on horseback in 3rd person. It really chugs when you do that.

When you are on horse back in the main world, travelling between cities, there are loading hiccups. The world streams in realtime and it is huge.

Otherwise the frame rate is respectable.

It's smooth until the world "loads". It's not the frame rate, it's a loading hiccup.

It's not 60fps, but the framerate is definitely playable.

it has a little fps drops in the game, but nothing critical.
