Oblivion: Help Me Decide

I am going through my first playthrough and have been taking my time. So far I am about to complete the Fighter's Guild. I have enjoyed it for the most part but am trying to figure out what to do next. I am thinking I will do either the Dark Brotherhood or the Mage's Guild. Which one would you suggest? Does one of them have a better story or better gameplay? I am just a level 4 archer with the warrior birthsign so far by the way. Thanks in advance.

Yeah the Dark Brotherhood has awesome quests, some of the best in the game only better quest I can think of is in the shivering isle content

The dark brotherhood has the most fun and best storyline and quests,the mages guild puts you through some amazing adventures(with lots of loot)

Like everyone has said the Dark Brotherhood questline is great

If Shadowmere runs away all you have to do is go to Fort Farragut and Shadowmere will be waiting there for you

Alot of the quests for the thieves Guild you have to do sneaking so wait until your sneak is higher. Its also good if you can see in the dark so that you dont need a torch and you'll be harder to detect

the dark brotherhood questline is epic

I think I'm gonna start a new char to play that again :D

if I were you I would make a new character like an assassin class and then do the dark brotherhood because a lot of the quests require stealth and the same with with mages guild just make a new character

it should be noted that if you're playing as a good character, you can do the dark brotherhood quest and get infamy points and then have the points erased by completing your pilgrimage in the knights of the nine (if you have it.)

I am also going through my 1st playthrough on Oblivion right now. I first beat the Arena then beat the Mages Guild and am nearing the end of the Fighters Guild. One of my friends told me you have to kill a mages guild member during the Dark Brotherhood quest so I am saving that and the theives guild for last.
