it did sharpen them a bit, as well as improve the textures and view distance, it was really minor, otherwise it didn't do anything. was it enough to bring the graphix on par with the ps3 version?
Yeah, its a minor update but I definitely noticed the difference when I booted the game up. Things just look a little sharper overall, and the draw distance is really nice now. Pretty sweet update.
It seems to have added problems. Firstly, the frame rate dipped a few times on me, and that hadn't happened before. Secondly, I started my game over and decided I'd be a marksman. When I go to draw back the arrow, the sound that I fired the arrow plays and I get confused and blow my shot, get spotted by a goblin and all heck breaks loose. This happened a lot too. That the firing an arrow sound plays before I fire the arrow. And that never happened to me before this update.
The patch fixes minor things, but compared to the PS3 it still lacks. I can't get the pics to load right, but when I do you will see for yourself. I haft to say, sorry fanboys but the PS3 is the clear winner in this one.

The PS3 version had a full year of additional development time - of course it's going to have a better look to it. However, I've seen a bunch of those side by side comparisons, and the difference is so minor as to make no odds.

it doesn't improve graphics. it just sharpens the picture up so that it looks better. you'll be able to notice more detail on a sword and if not more..it'll look better. it's not a huge difference but its good

Now, although I would like to buy a PS3 with time, my reasons certainly wouldn't include motorstorm. I realize that the full game may be different, but I hated the demo. It just didn't feel "right" to me. Still, I could see why some would love that game, I guess.
