Hey guys as most of you oblivion fans would know most of oblivions strongest weapons are leveled items which one would find very annoying if they got them at a low level now i'm kinda new at this whole thing I dont truly understand how it works yet and when I do I read something that just confuses me more.
Ok this is my problem as you guys would know The Blackwater Blade is a leveled item which you get from Selene in An unexpected voyage, now according to oblivion wiki if you get it at any level above 25 so its 25+ it should be at its strongest which according to wiki is 24 damage but heres the funny thing when I got it for some reason it does 26 damage and when I got it I was level 31 now first I thought It must be my blade level thats putting it up 2 points so I got my little brother to get to level 25 (his blade is 100 too) and then do the quest but when he got the sword it only did 24 damage.
Now heres my BIG question why? why did it do that why is mine stronger is it because I was a higher level makes sense but according to wiki it should be at its strongest at 25+ which both my brother and I where at.
Heres another problem to be solved everyone heres knows Duskfang/Dawnfang right yeah well me being an idoit and not knowing much about leveled items I accidentley got it at a low level now beleive me its strong but not as strong as it could be anyway last night I was watching this thing on youtube and the guy had Dawnfang/Duskfang and it said that it did 30 damage but according to wiki the maximum that sword can do is 25 grrrrr what the hel is going on.
So basically after all this crap my question is this when do leveled items really stop leveling im level 31 and my next available quest is where you get Shadowrend and I want it to be at its strongest if I get it now will it be any weeker than if I get it at level 40 or 50, wiki says it stops leveling at 30+ but I just want to make sure seeing as how its the strongest sword in the game.
Thanks heeps guys Im sorry its so long but this has been nagging me for a long time.
