[QUOTE="WeRo_CoOl"][QUOTE="WeRo_CoOl"]how do i get into the Theives Guild?danmp18
Steal a couple of things and the Theives guild will contact you.
Or just persuade any beggar or give them some money and after it ask about Gray Fox.It was already said, ge the skeleton key.
Go to Leyawiin, head North for 3 or 4 minutes on foot along the right hand side of the river I think
There a bridge with statue at the other side with people around the front, talk to the statue, do the stupid quest, and u got an unbreakable lockpick, all u do is press X to pick any lock

Wow, nice! Thanks to the original poster for this what I thought was a trivial post :)
This question has been asked a million times. Read the Gray Fox articles in Imperial City and then join the Thieves Guild and you can buy them from them.Superbustacap
Why does everyone seem to need more than one lockpick? When you are picking a lock, push the tumblers up until it falls back at the fastest pace. When the tumbler comes down at the fast pace, the next tumbler push will ALWAYS be a slow pace. Simply push the tumbler up after the fast pace and push the button at the top. I have not broken any lockpicks. I am a level 20 sorcerer and have not left one chest unopened, including many "very hard" chests. kintzer
I gotta try that technique tonight.
You don't need to BUY more than, say... 25-50 lockpicks in the entire game... here is why: Since you can save the game at any point... just do a save in front of ANY lock you have to pick. If you start to destroy too many lockpicks, just load your save, and your right back in front of the lock with your full amount. This doesn't take but a few seconds to do either, thanks to fairly quick load times. I still say to carry 25-50, because some of the harder locks will take quite a few tries, and if you only have a few, then you'll be re-loading a lot. Also, you'll pick them up from bandits and such, so even if you use say, 5 or so and "pick" the lock... then you'll be down 5 picks... but should pick those up randomly. So, with this knowledge... find a place to buy them, buy about 50... and then NEVER BUY THEM AGAIN. Depending on your security skill, you don't need to worry about saving in front of very easy, or easy locks usually... but since it litterally only takes a few seconds, you might want to anyway... in case you have a bout of "dumb thumbs" and break a few on those too. Set yourself a goal of say a dozen or so picks for some of the harder locks... and after you break that many trying... just load the save, and try again.remaGloohcSdlO
so do I
or go to the stables at imperial city, turn left after a 100 yards there is a guy in a black robe stood next to the wall he sells themsam-o-
Thats what I'm looking for. Something that doesn't rely on you joining the theives guild. I am in the fighters guild so all those other tips don't work. Thanks
hey how do you get the skelton key please tell megamermancalebIn Skyrim it's complicated you have to undertake a quest to expose corruption in The Thieves Guild, then kill a high ranking member member of The Thieves Guild who has the key, after you get the key take as much time as you want to complete The Thieves Guild quest. Ultimately though you have to return the key to the Twilight Seplacur because without the key The Thieves Guild & The Nightingales are cut off from their patron diety.
