I have several quests to complete in Oblivion, but all of them require the use of a lockpick.

I ran out of lockpicks long ago and was just wondering where I could find some more.

I find most of my lockpicks on dead goblins but you could also try improving you security skill or learning open lock spells.

If you're at level 10, just go do the quest to get the skeleton key. You won't ever have to worry about lockpicks again.

Shady Sam. Exit the Imperial City through the west gate by the stable and then head north along the wall. He'll be standing next to the wall not far from the gate.

join the thieves guild and you can buy lockipicks pretty cheap from the fences (merchants who buy stolen goods) Ongar in bruma is the first fence available and always has like 200 lockpicks. I would just buy him out and you wouldnt have to worry about it. I beat the game with all guild quests complete at level 9 so I couldn't get the skeleton key hence my need to use the fence.

QFT, I think it's the Nocturnal shrine quest.

that sight does have it all oh and by the way you can if you are at a lower level than 10 you can always just dupe lockpicks until you got like a thousand or so. Also never try and dupe over 60 different lockpicks at once it will probably freeze. Using restoration to fortify security always helps at well but the sight says it all so enjoy.

You can try to get the skeleton key.
Which is a never-breaking lockpick.

Visit the nocturnal shrine north of Leyawin (Not sure about the spelling) That is the southern most town with a river leading to it.

You can buy them at many of the shops - especially in the northern towns.
