The main quest.. I would say maybe 20-25 hours tops. But the other factions offer content which is even more entertaining than the main quest, and the length of that game shouldn't dissapoint you.
yea a good 20 hours for the main quest but like the person said before there our the faction quest which all have great storys and will take at least 15 hours (iused the walkthroughfor some bits so i mayhave done it quicker then most)each and there our 4 of them
It depends fully your playing style. Cause you can search every smallest details and so long or you can just kill run trought quests and kill all you must and then run away.
forget the main quest...the dark brotherhood and thieve guilds are the best...on the darkshadow guild where you have to enter that mansion and kill every other contestant 1 by 1..oh my god that was so hilarious
i'd say around 15 hours for main quest, but IMO its not the main quest that was the most fun. it was joining all the different guilds, and doing random missions for people.
Also if you decide NOT to fast travel everywhere(I know its tempting but....) I found the game much more enjoyable and Morrowind-esque when I actually walked or rode(horse) places. It adds loads of gameplay time and you will run by random ruins and caves to spelunk in and whatnot.
If you use fast travel you can get through it in about 15-20 hours but without fast travel I'd say 40 plus. Its a pretty good main quest but it doesn't compare to Morrowind's.
like the others have said, it's about 20-25 for the main quest... the actual main quest isn't all that enjoyable (at least I didn't like it) the faction and side quests are incredible though and that will probably triple your gameplay time.

if not more :D, very enjoyable game plus you will need to do the other faction stuff to gain levels, or else youll find the main quest to be harder than it's meant to be
